Love is in the editing with this week’s gorgeous challenge photo shot by Christine Sines. Near perfect straight from the camera, this week we challenged you to utilize your favorite MCP actions and presets to enhance this photo. Here is the challenge shot.
The photo editing challenge gives you a chance to edit other photographer’s images, share them for critique, and see how others edit the same photographs. Participating allows you to practice editing, learn how to give constructive criticism, and watch what steps or Photoshop actions and Lightroom presets others use in various edits. Join us to edit the bi-weekly photos.
Here are some of our favorite edits from this week’s album:

Removed tree, corrected skin tones by MCP color correction class. Also fixed wedding dress color by a technique learned in MCP color correction class. Plus, hand edits.

I started out by using the healing brush on their skin to get rid of a few blemishes. Then ran magical clarity, ellies magic trick (at a lowered opacity), and color safe bleach. Then I used oops I blew it and highlight saver to try to get back some of the details of the dress. I also ran orange skin vanisher and hemispheres with southern hemisphere turned off. I used clarif-eye, sharpie, and clearly on the flowers to try to make them seem a little less fuzzy. Then I cropped and ran summer base and oasis. I selected their skin colors and painted over at a low opacity to smooth out their skin a little bit and then finished off with facebook fix.

used mcp all in the details color, mcp fusion quick flash, removed tree, added flare, soft blur and hand edits
Edited by Jane Galik
I ran a few hand edits first then used MCP Newborn Necessities Keepsakes and Peach Fuzz and used the eraser over the red bouquet and grooms boutonniere. Then finished with the Baby Focused action.

This week the Photography Challenge continued with more guilty pleasure sharing. The photo challenge is a great way to reach outside the box and work hard. You have the support of a large group of photographers who can assist you and give you feedback as you work on specific themes and skills. We loved seeing so many great photos. Here are a few we wanted to feature, but make sure to check the album on the group page for more.
