I shot the photos below at 1/125, ISO 100, and most were at f8 (a few at a little more wide open).

The girls are wearing temporary tattoos on their face and arms – decided that I want to remember them at this age with these so I chose to leave them instead of edit them out. In fact, that was how I got them to go with me is they wanted photos of their “body stickers.”

Your girls are beautiful! It’s funny… I was just showing my website to someone and I explained to them that the picture of my son were just as I wanted them to be. It was a picture of him sitting in front of his Easter basket holding a couple of dyed eggs. You can see the different colors of dye on his fingers and even some on his leg. This is how I want to remember him. I’ve even started asking mothers if they want me to “clean” up the picture of their kids (i.e., half gone tatoos, etc.) and the majority of the time, they tell me to leave it just the way it is. Thus my motto – “Simple*Natural*Original.” Thanks for sharing the great pictures of your girls! – Laurie (Shutterbug Photography – Louisiana)

Jodi, your girls are absolutely adorable! I’m so glad you chose to leave the tatoos. So many times, people go for the “perfect” look instead of capturing things as they are. There’s nothing wrong with that but sometimes you just gotta keep it real! What sweet, sweet girls!!!
