Just in: Adobe Lightroom 2.0 Beta

Adobe has launched a beta version of Lightroom 2.0. You can get it free through August if you own LR already. If you do not, you can try it for 30 days.

I am personally very curious about the localized corrections as that is my biggest gripe with LR – not being able to make changes to one specific area. I sure hope it does what I am picturing.
They do say this should not be used for production just testing. So I am undecided if I will be installing it this early on. If I do I will let you know. And if you do, please come back to this thread and add comments on your thoughts and opinions on this new version.

I’ve never used Lightroom. I don’t know what the difference is between it and Photoshop. I guess I’ll have to look into it.
