Video Tutorial: Green Grass & Blue Skies in Photoshop Part 2
May 02, 2008 | 18 Comments |Add a comment
This tutorial is part 2 of making grass greener and skies bluer. This tutorial will focus on making your color look more accurate, less popped and neon. Often times people pop their colors too much. Grass gets yellow or neon green. Blues get turquoise. This tutorial will show you how to fix photos and work with your spring and summer pictures to make them look great but real at the same time. Enjoy!

Great tutorial! I knew a little about saturating colors but working in the adjustments layers is new to me and would really help me not have to redo work when I have to go back because I over did it! Thanks!
That was a great tutorial. I think i can even use most of it in elements. Thanks for sharing this.
You are the bomb! That was very useful, I’ll have to play around with my outdoor shots this evening! THANK YOU!!! You know so much and I’m glad you are sharing it with us! You should actually add a “donations” link for your knowledge…I’m serious!

Like Julie, I’ve been doing a lot of neon-ish color. While I will still do it for artistic effect, I’m glad to know how to tone things down.
