Ann Marie: Since you commented, #10 is a soldier in the US Army out of Fort Hood TX.
She is on her way to Afghanistan at the end of the month. These photos were taken to send to her husband who is deployed right now and has still not met his daughter.
IMO, she is doing the two toughest jobs in the world….
My pick is 10…I know how tough it is to be a military spouse and a mother…And can not imagine being active duty and a mother.

Great idea for Mother’s Day. I enjoyed the variety of the images.
I voted for #10 also. I am a single mother of two, currently on deployed status in the Army. It is a tough life, but it’s so worth it just to see them smile. Great Job to all the contenders and Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there.
