MCP Actions Blog has the privilege of a giving away a FREE 9 week photography mentoring by Erin Bell. She is an incredible photographer and teacher. And has guest blogged here in the past and will again in the future.
This cannot be bought. She is doing this for FREE. She has a small group that she hand picked to mentor. And she is allowing one more person into the group – someone who reads the MCP blog! The winner will be picked at random on Monday and will start immediately.
How to enter for your chance? Comment on this thread and tell me why you would like to be her mentee, a few sentences about your photography experience and what would you plan to do with your knowledge after the mentorship is over. Please make sure before you enter that you have a digital SLR and that you consider yourself still a beginner.
Details of her 9 week program:
Each week there is a lesson and an assignment. Participants will be asked to post two images a week that pertain to the assignment. Images are critiqued by two other mentees as well her. She will critique every image posted.
The group has been set up for beginners. The ideal mentee is someone who has a dSLR (this is a must), very motivated to learn and do assignments, and has a slight understanding of settings. Settings and how to operate your camera will be explained to you. People who already understand completely how ISO, aperture, and shutter speed relate for instance will probably find the group too simple for them. If you kind of understand the basics, but need it better explained and want to become better, this is a good group for you.
