The small moments captured that count…

Just sharing my daughter Jenna, her amazing eyelashes and a small moment… She was starting to eat her University of Michigan Pop Tart. And I just happened to have a camera close by. I know she will love this one when she gets older. I processed 1st using Color Burst from the “Complete Workflow Action Set.”
Then I ran the photo through Color Magic from the “Coloring Book Action Set.” This action does a selective color look – but unlike most it brings back colors that you pick. And you can add a touch of vintage to it as well so it is not pure black and white. So which do you like best and why? I would love you to comment and let me know. GO BLUE!

I really prefer the color, maybe because I have evolved into a color loving girl!
I’m so much of a vintage girl! So I’d have to say the 2nd one. That action sounds awesome!! I’ll have to look into that one!
I like the color burst version. I love the bright colors and feel that it really draws you right into that logo on the cookie!
I like the color version a lot more. And she does have great eyelashes!
First one- rockin DOF!
Love the vintage! Great shot (but War Eagle)!
I prefer the second ONLY for the reason that the pink stripe on her shirt catches my eye too much in the color pop version…
Beautiful lashes
As a U of M alumni, I would go for the strong color because it matches my image of U of M as being a strong school and a strong team. Go Blue!!!!
Wonderful….the 1st picture pops!!
Love the first one Jodi!! It really pops.
I am a fan of the colored one. It just has more sparkle & life, to me! The vintage is nice too…
The second—Michigan is such a storied University and have so much nostalgia associated with them—the second one captures it all with the nostalgia feel. However, the eyelashes are all GLAM!
prefer the vintage as i think it matches the mood of the photo perfectly. don’t flame me, but go buckeyes!!!
Even though I am an Ohio State fan. I prefer the vintage one. the ‘m’ stands out more.
I love the way it looks like she is trying to save the ‘m’ for last. Carefully eating the edge, very cute!
Love the first one and the vibrant color in it.
Love them both-but the second one took my breath away
Love the first photo! It’s funny how each of us prefer one over the other…it takes all kinds to make the world go round!!! Great shot and to-die-for eyelashes!
Love the first photo, too! Bold colors work, especially with the maize and blue.
Love the vintage! The pink on her sleeve in the first photo is a bit distracting to me. I love the second photo. Very cool pop tarts, btw!
Jodi, Both are great, but I would vote for the first-the colors give it more impact. And I too love the shallow DoF!
love the first one — I’m a fan of full color in simple pictures – does that make sense?
Love the first, except maybe lessen the pop on the pink strip in the shirt so that it doesn’t take away from the sentiment of the photograph.
I’m lovin’ the !POP! of the color version
Love the photo. But I must ask where did you get a U of M pop tart?
Jena – I believe my husband picked them up at Walmart. They are in a box called NCAA pop tarts.
You’re killing me with that Michigan pop tart!
(Says a huge Ohio State fan.) I love the color one…I don’t know why, but my eye almost always prefers color over anything else. Really cute photo~
Angie in OH
I love the color one. It is a great shot of a beautiful little girl! Good job mom!
