Some amazing free high resolution textures – and how to use them
I came across some amazing FREE textures on flickr by Andrew McConnochie. There are over 130 incredible textures. These really are amazing and can really enhance the right photograph.
Download these textures here. Just click on each texture then select “all sizes” and then “original” and “download the original size.”

Does it matter where you save your textures? Can they be on an external hard drive? I am not sure how much space they take. Thanks!

Thank-you so much! Do these need to be downloaded individually, or can the entire set be done in one step? And also, I can’t figure out where to load these in cs3. Is it in the filters? Thanks again.

Alison, they need to be downloaded one at a time in the “original size” as shown above. They are jpg files – they do not load in PS. They get opened as a jpg. The video should help you if you have time to watch it too.
