My site IS everything. I can’t afford advertising and if I could, my home studio couldn’t handle volume or huge groups so my web presence hones in on the folks who need someone in my area, have a specific need, and see that need met in my online presence. My big problem is that the current ‘free’ gallery options and sites are clunky and prefab and my web tech skills are about a 5 on a scale of 1-100 so I’ve had to rely on others who have much more skill but are doing it for free for me. I need the whole web package with the ability to change text, pricing and add new images without having to go through others or use terrible free, awkward and barely customizable presets. I need a real solution but don’t have the real money now so winning this would help more than you know.

I hate my current set up. The main site was created with some free software which is still so trouble prone that I have to wait for my husband to have time to change and update it-then the galleries are made using adobe lightroom/bridge/photoshop; which means we have limited control over the look of that without knowing better how to tweak the html code under the templates adobe provides. It’s schizo and tedious and worst of all , changing anything-which I BADLY need to do, is like waiting for Christmas to come again.

I think website is very important especially starting off. It is the first thing that made me feel professional. It is possibly the first glimpse clients have of my work so I want it to be done right. I did a really quick customized blog but I would love to have a website page as well.

Web presence is super important. our clients today are web saaaavy and go there for everything! i would love to have a site that is completely my own. I have the slideshows and they totally rock!

Just starting out so I have not really invested the money for a good website. This could really help me launch my business. I love the business and enjoy looking at other’s sites, so maybe one day, someone will enjoy looking at mine.

My blog is important for my photography business. I use it to post my latest shoots so that clients and their friends and family can view my photos and for potential clients to go and see my work. I wish I had a web-site with all the bells and whistles. I think I could do a lot more with my business with a better web-site. Time and money are the biggest things holding me back right now.
