- Beach Bag
- Dream lens is tough as I just bought the last few items for my wish list the other day. My dream lens was 70-200 f/2.8 – then I got it – rarely used it and sold it recently. Then it was the 85L – which I bought and LOVE. And then it was the 50L, which arrived yesterday. I am sure it will only be a matter of time before I have a new dream lens. As for one not made yet, I would love a wide angle 17mm f 1.2 – that would be fun! Or a any of my other L prime lenses with image stabilization.
- Polka Dots – hands down, I am a polka dot person – love them – they make me happy!

1. I used to wrap my Nikon D40 in my shawls & scarves before I found a bag for it.
2. I want a 50mm that will autofocus on my Nikon D40 (although I’d rather have a D90 that would autofocus with my 50mm 1.8!). I think it would be cool if Nikon put out an 85mm prime that would autofocus on the D40.
3. I think I’m probably a polka-dotty kind of gal, but it’s hard to choose! Often depends on the design and the colors and how the fabric is being used. I like things funky!

I used a sweatshirt. I carefully put the camera inside my sweatshirt and folded the sweatshirt in half so the bottom opening and the neck were both on the same end. I then took the sweatshirt and with the neck and bottom sides up, I tied it around my waist with the sleeves of the sweatshirt. ( I was hiking.
)
Any closeup lense would be wonderful right now!

1. Silliest thing I still carry my camera in, seriously-no offense, but I shoot exclusively Nikon, and my Mother in law shoots exclusively Canon, so she bought me a Canon Backpack (haha), and I use it all the time. It is awesome, and cost her quite a bit of money, sooooo….:)

1. Okay… the craziest thing I’ve used for a camera bag would actually have multiple parts. And it was NOT attractive. I hate carrying a huge backpack or bag and since I am just starting out and cant afford the shootsac, or one of these bags that make shooting easy, I’ve used an array of ugly things… sometimes all at once! a fanny pack (circa 1982)… a purse (seriously, no joke. like regular purse)… a passport holder (all the little pockets are good for memory cards and business cards)… a belt add on that is actually designed for bullets when shooting a gun (i used that for my flash). I haven’t quite stooped to duct taping things on me, but it has crossed my mind…
2.My dream lens… probably the 50mm 1.2. I have the 50mm 1.8 and it’s AMAZING… it has changed a lot of my style, but I’d love to have an even more wide open aperture. Any prime lens really… I’ve kind of fallen in love with them
3. Prints. Wow… this is hard. I think maybe something with a plethora of hearts. Big hears, small hearts, pink hearts, green hearts… I just love them. I think they’re romantic and cute and girly and I am in love with them!

1) I’m boring… not really, just careful. I got a regular camera bag as soon as I got a camera; there was no way I was going to let my new baby go unprotected! However, the camera bag *is* boring, and it’s gotten too small for my baby and her accessories.
2) My dream lens? I have the Tamron 28-75mm 2.8 and I would love to have the equivalent Canon L lens.
3) Fabric for me would most likely be a bright solid color, but with a hint of texture. Not the actual texture of the fabric, but where the fabric is woven in a way that there’s a design that can be seen if you’re looking up close; kind of like a surprise. That design could be circles of varying sizes overlapping each other or stripes of varying widths, or even flowers or fleur de lis. Nothing silly, though, only classic designs.

Which fabric pattern best describes your personality? Damask all the way. My biz folders are damask, I’m using damask studio backdrops, I just hung damask wallpaper in my bathroom (its to die for), and I even picked up a Damask beach towel from Target this week.

1. OMG, embarrassing, but I used my nephew’s Sponge Bob Square Pants backpack once to shoot a mini session. I was too lazy to haul around my big bag when I only needed a couple lenses – then I saw good ‘ole Sponge Bob smiling at me…how could I resist?

Ooooh my. How embarrassing to admit this stuff…. but um… 1. I once used a cosmetic travel bag. It had little dividers in it and it was pretty… so, it just seemed “ok” at the time. I also used a “fanny pack” around my waist for quick access to my lenses. I looked silly. 2. I would love a Nikkor 105mm 2.8. I have a 50mm 1.8 but would also love the 1.4… the 105mm is on my list now. 3. My logo colors are black and hot pink. I love things that are fun, vivid, a little funky!Yah.. yah… FUNKY & FUN!

I have just bought my first DSLR, graduated from the point and shoot and I am having sooooo much fun with it.
So my silliest thing I’ve used as a camera bag is the box it came in. I couldn’t wait to use it. I got it charged up, packed it back in the box and then took out in the general area to take pictures.
Dream lens would be anything. I have the two kit lenses and know nothing about lenses but am about to enrol in a photography course to learn learn learn.

1. I used my friend’s daughter’s dora bag to hold my camera and to top it off, she suggested padding the bag with a diaper (clean of course). The spare lens was carefully wrapped and protected that’s for sure!
