Often times I feel so bad when only one or two people can win my contests and so many leave comments. Well if you are feeling even a little lucky, this is a contest for you!

20 winners will be drawn at random on Sunday night, the 19th of July.

The prizes: each winner will get two incredible sets of textures from Kaleidoscope (Light Set and Dream Collection).  These textures (especially the light set) are like nothing I have ever seen before.  They literally work in Bokeh, Sun Flare or even Sunset Light to your photos. WOW! Each prize is worth $88 retail.  So MCP and Kaleidoscope are giving away $1,760 worth of prizes! Talk about fun.

PLUS on Sunday everyone wins – as I will be posting a download link to two FREE MCP Exclusive Kaleidoscope textures! And a 40% off code on the full sets.  DO NOT MISS THIS!

Here is a quick play I did using the “light set.”

To enter and qualify for the contest (you need to do both items 1 and 2):

1 – Join my Facebook Fan Page at http://facebook.com/mcpfans. If you are already a member, that counts too – but make sure you are signed up for my page not just to be my friend. My goal is to start having my fans and customers use the wall and discussion section on the MCP Fan Page to ask questions and help each other with photography and photoshop related questions.  I get dozens of emails a day with general questions and cannot always get back to everyone with detailed responses.  So please go sign up today so we can get started in that direction.

2 - Leave a comment directly on the blog (not on Facebook Wall, FB Page, emailed to me) with the following three answers:

  • What type of Photoshop tutorials would you like to see on the MCP Blog in the future?
  • What type of Photography topics would you like to see covered on the MCP Blog in the future?
  • What type of actions would you like to see from MCP in the future?

(When it asks for your name in the comments – I need you to put your 1st and last name – and if a common name – your photography company name so that it will be easy to post the 20 winners) – if you are unable to do this – you will be disqualified from this contest.

I would like to see more with masking and layers. And the selection tools.

•What type of Photography topics would you like to see covered on the MCP Blog in the future?

How to run a shoot from start to finish, how you approach shooting people especially those you don’t know that well. Sports photography is always a fun one to learn.

•What type of actions would you like to see from MCP in the future? I love the blog it boards so I’d love to see more of these types of things. Things that make getting client previews up quicker and easier. Also anything that lets you do a quick, clean workflow.

I’m already a fan on FB…cuz I’m a fan always! Thanks so much for all you do!

As an amateur, I really like things that are easily done in PSE since I can’t imagine spending the $ for the full program : ) I don’t have any specific requests- I am still trying to take it all in! Thanks

I love everything you do (OK, lame answer…) One thing I definitely read in detail is anything that explains HOW you use your actions – combination, opacity etc etc. I love your actions, and there are so many things that you come up that I never could have even asked for. So, for me to make a suggestion for a new one is quite hard! I am still trying to get the funds together to buy everything you offer now!

You have a wonderful and educational blog! Thank you so much for everything you do!

    * What type of Photoshop tutorials would you like to see on the MCP Blog in the future? How to easily batch and perform actions on multiple pictures simultaneously.

    * What type of Photography topics would you like to see covered on the MCP Blog in the future? How to shoot effectively in full sun without blowing out the sky.

    * What type of actions would you like to see from MCP in the future? Hmmm, I haven’t even gotten through all that are available now, so I can’t say there’s anything specific I could ask for at the moment.

    1. For me, more on actually using textures…as I haven’t done them before… Also, more interaction between Lightroom and CS4…
    2. The biggies, posing and lighting
    3. I really like the border actions and actions that create story boards, I plan to hopefully get some of them.

    Thanks!

I would LOVE to win these actions! Okay, I feel lucky tonight…..

I would LOVE to see more on lightroom, incorporating it into the workflow….

I need to learn more about my flash, I really love natural light, so I hardly ever use my flash, but there are times when I need too, and I would love a little on night photography.

As far as actions, how about a few lightroom presets!

I am new to your site which I found through fellow photographers.

    1. Photoshop tutorials–using layers and masking, making your own brushes
    2. Photoshop topics–Using textures
    3. Actions for the future-suprise us. This one is hard for me to suggest.

I’d love to see some actions that will size and put your logo on images for web display. It would be nice to have one action that could do all of that. I used to have my own, but when my Mac’s hard drive died, I lost it and I’ve yet to be able to recreate it.

I also would love more LR actions that would take images from blah to wow without having to import into PS.

    * What type of Photoshop tutorials would you like to see on the MCP Blog in the future? How to edit out unwanted subjects in images.
    * What type of Photography topics would you like to see covered on the MCP Blog in the future? How to educate your clients on what would look best in their homes. You give them great images, but sometimes they choose the safe ones. I’d love to see a way to show them to take a chance and have fun with those images.

For photography topic, I would live how to shoot in low light or natural light. I have a lot of trouble with white balance in these situation.
For actions…I have a lot of your actions and love them. Maybe some that would allow for selective sharpening.
