— I’m not sure if this has been covered before but, I would love to see a tutorial on how to completely change the background on a photo. I have watched other tutorials and have attempted to do it a few times but I always seem to get part of the old background showing through, especially around hair, even though I thought I removed the old background.

photoshop tutorials….streamlining, shortcuts, color correction, batch processing, using and understanding histograms…
photography topics….exposure in general, exposure selection..when there are light and dark focal points, white balance.
actions….I love all actions. I don’t discriminate! I would, however, love to see a build your own action package. Not one that selects two or three sets, but an actual “build you own” set. I find that I love individual actions from different sets. It’s hard to afford all of the sets, but, if a “create your own” option was availabe!!!!!! That would be “wicked cool.”
Future tutorials = more on the methods of Sharpening & pros/cons, also on evaluative light metering
Future Topics = Well, like everybody, I always like the giveaways. I feel like some more product reviews would be really useful, even if its just going through your own gear bag. Also on posing groups.

I would love to see a photoshop tutorial on batch processing or workflow in general. Especially because I shoot RAW / jpg – I end up spending a lot of time on the workflow end of things. I would love some tutorials on off camera flash for photography tutorials. I would also love to see more workflow tutorials for photoshop. I would love texture actions. I see a lot of cool linen like textures and really natural textures that I love in pictures these days.
Thanks so much for all the tutorials you’ve already done! I’ve learned a ton! I’m so new to photography, the whole workflow-to-print process and saving all the different file versions is confusing to me. (I’m sure others have mastered though..I’m just slow that way. LOL)

tutorials on blog: I would like to see tutorials on how to fix green cast on images with people… when shooting in lush green locations this is a huge problem for me…sometimes it makes the skin too magenta when I try to fix it so a lot of times they end up black and white…
Photography Topics: would love to see OCF info! am really having fun with it but would love to learn more
Actions: I really like your actions, but I would love to see an action similar to your blog it and print it boards that we could use for standard card sizes such as 5×7 flats or folded customized to WHCC. lol! I know…I’m not asking for much

Photography help: I use Photoshop to clean up skin blemishes and run MCP actions (eyes, teeth, skin) but do the bulk of my work in Lightroom. Since I am self taught, I guess it would be nice to get the basics of PS so that I know what I am doing is right.
Photography topic: Finding the light when on an outdoor shoot.
Actions: I have some actions that I do not know how they work or when is the best kind of photograph to apply them to.
I have so many answers to these three questions!! But I’ve narrowed it down…so here goes:
Also, I’d like more help with masks…when I use some of the actions they can effect skin tone too much and I’m not sure how to correct it.
1. WORKFLOW! I feel like I’m not utilizing my time efficiently. For example do I have to apply my watermark to every picture individually? Isn’t there a way to do it in bulk?
2. THE ART OF POSING!! I have the idea in my head, but it’s hard to get it out. Poses for clients of ALL ages and both sexes…is it me or are guys harder to pose? Also, LENSES!! What lens, when, why? Prime? Zoom? And one more…the debate between RAW and JPG.
3. MORE ACTIONS?!?! You already have so many fantastic ones!!! I think enhancing the sky would be a fun one to add. I’m constantly using the patch tool to remove blemishes, rashes, and other imperfections…a quickie action would be awesome!

I would like you to cover photography topics regarding how to get correct exposure indoors.
I would like to see an action on how to get rid of shadows on faces or sloppy borders.
In the future I would love to see tutorials on white balance. I would love to hear from other photographers about better lighting techniques. As well as some fresh new posing ideas. And lastly I would enjoy more photoshop actions dealing with white balance, and classic black and white.

So often do I look at your tutorials and topics and think that it was just what I needed to read about at that moment.
I use some actions, but actually do my own steps a lot of the time, too. I have no idea on how to create certain actions, like an action for watermarking. A tutorial on this would be super helpful!
As far topics go, shooting in full sun is something I cannot read enough about!
Actions… I am a “make your saving easier” junky and use some of yours already.

Photoshop tutorials – color correction, using textures, black and white conversion and making softer images using blurring or other techniques. What about covering Adobe Lightroom also. This is getting to be a really popular app for photographers, and I’m wondering about purchasing it to do more of my initial RAX editing in before editing final details in PS.
Photography topics – Anything would be great, especially lighting and composition techniques
MCP Actions – That is a hard answer to give. Maybe an action for resizing a photo for different print sizes. Your existing actions are really great, and I will be purchasing more in the future.

A good one to follow this contest might be a tutorial on using textures with portrait photography???? Making storyboards and maybe even making watermarks and logos.

1 – I would like to see more tutorials on the different methods of color correction. I haven’t bought the skin cast blast actions yet (need to), but I would like to know how to do this without an action as well.
2 – I really have liked a lot of the tutorials about senior pictures and newborn photography, I think just more about the different areas especially maybe some on wedding photography, or big group photography. Also, I would love more tutorials on lighting.
3 – I’m not really sure about the actions since I don’t have any of your actions yet
My husband’s graduate school pretty much eats up all of our funds. But hopefully soon I will be purchasing the Magic Skin set. So I guess I would say, more Retouching type actions.
1. Would love to see a really simple tutorial on swapping heads, eyes.
2. Photo topic: How to take silhouette photos (sunset).

i love seeing how photos are fixed and transformed with your actions and would like to keep seeing that. your actions sets are pretty complete as they are, i love the colour pop ones, so maybe more variations of those.

I teach elementary school and decided that I was going to make it my summer project to “teach” myself about photography. Well…my real driving force is my 2-year old daughter. I have absolutely NO training in design or photography…I just want to capture those important family and childhood memories for the ever important scrapbook! I literally just purchased Photoshop last week and have been playing around with the program and am very excited about this contest!
