These are very helpful, being able to see another’s photo along with the histogram, and really KNOW that the author is then talking about. Us visual/auditory learners are very grateful!!!

BRILLIANT! I feel as though a cartoon light bulb just went on over my head! I think I need to watch the tutorial 2-3 more times to fully understand, but I feel hopeful that this info well help me get to my goal of SHARP pics! If you don’t remember me, you will remember my THIRST to learn how to take SHARP pics!

Learning to read a histogram was one of my personal photographic goals for this year. Thank you so much for this!!! Its like a lightbulb has been turned on for me!

Maybe I’m the only slow one, but I’m having trouble getting it. First, I don’t understand how the information can go beyond the graph (e.g. if there’s 10,000 pixels in the photo, and 0 is the blackest part, and the vertical part of the histogram goes up to 10,000, then even if the entire photo was black, in my mind the histogram should be one straight bar that goes all the way up on the left).

Second, I don’t understand how you can look at the graph and tell whether or not the information is clipped.
