Win a brand new sealed copy of Adobe’s Lightroom 2 – a $299 value. While I am more a Photoshop CS4 fanatic, I do use Lightroom as a way to sort through my photos and do basic white balance and exposure adjustments. It is capable of so much more than I use it for too. But you just cannot pull me from my roots.

I think Lightroom was developed for photography, whereas PS was developed more for graphic art. As a PS user myself I would love to learn lightroom to cut down on my post-process time. I keep hearing how great it is, but haven’t purchased it yet.

Workflow, workflow, workflow! I use Bridge right now (which I love, don’t get me wrong!), but I’d love to utilize some of the tools that Lightroom offers over Bridge.
It would make me SMILE!!!
I currently use bridge and ACR for CS2. What an upgrade this would be!! Editing takes me forever…as this would surely speed up the process so that I can spend more time with my kids. Thank you so much for the opportunity! You Rock MCP!!

i tried lightroom last year sometime. I didn’t get all the hype of what it was. I think if i had it i would use it now, and be able to finally understand it.

I would love to learn photoshop and lightroom. I have been taking photos for many years and feel that it is time to branch out. Lately, I’ve been doing portraits, seniors, babies and just shots to make notecards. I’m also the one with the great camera who gets pulled aside for photos for work, family events and things like that. Using Lightroom would be a great opportunity to take it further and boost the photoshop skills that I am just honing. I am also addicted to CS4…but I would love to get to know Lightroom. I hear so many good things about it and I would love the opportunity to use it. My studio partner swears by Lightroom and says that it has greatly decreased her editing time.
I’m an amateur who loves taking pics of my children and my friend’s children. I can’t call myself a pro, but I do take a great deal of pride in my work. I had a chance to work with the original version of Lightroom a while back and was amazed at how easy my workflow went. I’m currently working with the old photoshop 7, and having some updated software would be amazing!

white balance is my absolute nemesis. I’m hoping {cross my fingers} that lightroom would help!!

I am an amateur photographer. I love to take and edit the photos I take, but my program is very simplified for the projects I would like to do. A program like photoshop could be a great resource to help me move from amateur to more professional.

I live and die by lightroom, but I’m using v1.4. I’d continue to use LR as my photo manager, but the new functionality and editing capabilities would make my life simpler, and that’s always good when you have a newborn.

I have loved photography for a long time and have over the last year been getting really serious about my “hobby” as my husband calls it (MEN…LOL!). I have finally mastered my Adobe Photshop Elements 7 and I believe that the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 would give me the extra push I have been looking for to turn my passion (hobby according to the hubby) to the next level. I have heard wonderful thing about lightroom streamlining editing, which is something I am very much in need of.

I am a newbie and I would love love love to have Lightroom! I would have to learn how to use it…. but I am excited to figure it out! HA!
Currently, I am using PS Elements 4.0. Talk about dinosaur! Lightroom would speed up my editing process as well as provide a wide range of editting options to offer my clients. It would be fabulous to be able to edit all my photos at once with the ease of having all files shown as tabs in LR. The faster I can edit, the more time that leaves me behind the lense!

I am a single mother of three currently in college for photography. I have a small studio in my house. This would improve my business and quality so much. I hope I get the chance to use it.
Since I seem to be exposure-challenged when taking pictures, Lightroom would help me administer first aid to my ailing photos, as well as help to make good photos better. Besides, I love everything Adobe!

I have been using Aperture, with varying levels of success but heard good things about Lightroom however am wary of spending even more money on another application – fingers crossed no 549 is my new lucky number as no.8 has already long been taken

I took my son’s senior pictures, and I’m learning how to edit them in Lightroom through an on-line class. I only have the trial version and would love to actually have it when the trial is finished. My goal is to have the senior pictures look like a “real photographer” took them.

I love LR but currently only have v1.4. There are so many new tools in LR2 that I want to get my hands on especially the gradient tool. I really think it will help to push my PP to another level
Adobe Photoshop is my favorite photo editing software and also Paint Shop Pro. Adobe photoshop has more useful features compared to other photo editing softwares.
