Ellie, one of my 7 year old twins, loves to write. She constantly writes stories and poetry. She dreams of someday being an author. I tell her she already is. She wrote this today and I wanted to share her poem with all of you.
“Fall” by Ellie Friedman
Cider, apples
All day long,
Children happy
Singing songs,
Having fun
All day
All night
Fun in Fall
With no fright!
Her sister Jenna did this illustration in Photoshop.

How cute and so sweet! And what a wonderful poem! Such a great job on both the picture and poem. Good job Ellie and Jenna!
Love the teamwork!
Wow, that’s really good. You do a great job not only inspiring us, but encouraging the creativity in your children.
Very sweet. What a dynamic duo!!
The poem and drawing are wonderful! You have such accomplished little girls!
This is a great poem, and I love the artwork! I think they should publish a book of children’s poetry. Ellie can write, Jenna can illustrate, and you could take a photo of them hard at work for the “about the author” page.
Awesome! I see collaboration in their future!!
posted about contest on FB…. thanks again…. good luck to all!
Very nice .
Just posted on FB! To all who win, enjoy!
