Thank you Jodi and Jessica for this post on textures. Your suggestions and examples are truly inspiring.
I love applying textures and textured borders in photoshop and can easly fall into the “junkie” category.
Jessica and Christy, would you please suggest some textures and textured borders that you recommend? I have some but would love to get more (junkie). :-/ Thank you for the download! xo

Thanks for the awesome post and the texture, Jessica! I particularly liked the tip about changing the texture to grayscale – hadn’t heard that before. Excellent advise!

well thank you for pointing out ANOTHER AWESOME PHOTOG to follow. I am new to textures and LOVE them but wonder if I can base an entire business off of this style. This shows me how, when done with care and skill, textures can certainly be something stunning, and profitable in it’s artistic style.

First, your images are Breathtaking! I too am a Texture Junkie…I tend to use at least 2 -3 on almost every photo. I’m working diligently to make sure I don’t “overtexture” but it’s truly a sickness! Thank You for your free texture and I’ll continue to watch your work for inspiration.
