This Blueprint was sent in by Gina Neary of Pea Head Prints. I love her photography, post processing, and on top of that her graphics work.  She helped me recently with all of my new banner ads, business cards and post cards so that they could match the new MCP Blog and MCP Website. THANK YOU GINA!

In the photo below (1st picture is the before and 2nd is the after) Gina used the following MCP Photoshop actions:

  1. Touch of Light FREE action: just applied to the baby with a low opacity brush
  2. Magical Contrast from the Bag of Tricks Photoshop Action Set
  3. Magical Clarity from the Bag of Tricks Photoshop Action Set
  4. Skin Cast Blast from Magic Skin Action Set
  5. Cropped the shot for a better composition
  6. Texture Applicator FREE action to apply light texture.
  7. Burnt Edges action for a vignette
  8. Crackle from the Quickie Collection Action Set

This photo is really pretty and I like what you did to it Charlotte. The only thing I might have done in addition is worked on some of the reflected color casts on the side of her face and neck. Great job and thank you for submitting this and sharing with my readers.

Quick question: How do you specifically apply an action to a certain area and then apply it to another area etc.?

E~ The actions she used are all “paint on” actions. You just run the action, then use a brush to apply the adjustment where you need it, at the opacity you want.Nice job Charlotte!
