Very good Post!

I save each (uncropped) image that I edit as a PSD that that I can go back and rezize to any crop ratio so my 8x10 matches my 5x7 matches my 4x6. When I am sending to the lab I resize my images to the right crop ratio and save as a JPG. (If I am ordering an 8x10, 5x7 and 4x6 of the same image, I do upload three different files to the lab). When I do anything for the web, or to save for myself, I save as a PNG. There is no quality loss and I can save to the web. I would use only PSD and PNG, but most labs that I have worked with will only allow uploads of JPGs.
