6 Reasons to Wake Up Early on Vacation
I am an erratic sleeper. I go stretches where sleep means the world to me. And other periods of time where I forget what sleep is. When I travel, I often have trouble sleeping. And my most recent trip was no exception. I fell asleep most nights earlier than I would at home since I had no internet access. But 5:30-6:00am, and I was wide awake. At our days at sea, I chose to use the time to burn a few of the many calories I had consumed on the cruise, by going on the jogging track. I noticed the beauty of the sunrise and though, I wish I had my camera. Sunrise, when the sky is mixed with a few clouds, is stunning. But it is even more incredible when there is something besides water meeting the sky.
So when we arrived in St. Thomas and then again the next day when we arrived in St. Marteen, I took advantage of my early wake up and went on the balcony with my Canon 5D MKII and Canon 16-35L Lens

Love the oranges in the first one! I took a cruise through Europe and the sunrises on the Red Sea were amazing!
