Winners of the Shootsac Lens Bag and MCP Actions Sets
Are you feeling lucky? I wish I could pick everyone as winners, but keep checking back for future contests. You just never know which day and contest will be yours. I am so happy that so many photographers participated. After reading the post, you will see the winners announced.
I also want to give a BIG THANK YOU to SHOOTSAC for their fabulous prize donation. If you have been considering buying a Shootsac, now is a great time to buy. I love wearing mine and am addicted to buying new covers. It is a perfect way to carry lenses, lip gloss, a wallet and keys – and look stylish and fun at the same time.
As far as Photoshop actions, if you are new to MCP and heard about me through the Shootsac newsletter, please check out my site (actions, online workshops and video tutorials). On each product page for an action set, check out the links to videos showing the actions in use. These can be watched before and/or after you buy for best results. Jessica showed 2 before and after images using the Bag of Tricks Photoshop action set. Since some of you missed this, as you subscribed after the April newsletter came out, I have attached her plays and Blueprints below.
“In the image below, I used the action called “Bleach Pen” to correct the blue cast out of the groom’s jacket–I love how easy it was to do this! The top image is the before, the bottom image is the after.” – Jessica Claire
“In the image below, I shot when the sun was still high in the sky, causing the blue of the sky to look blown out in the background. Using the action “fake blue sky” at about 30%, I was able to bring back a little bit of that color instead of just flat white!” – Jessica Claire
Now for the winners: please email me if you are listed below to redeem your prize.

Congrats winners!
Congrats ladies! Enjoy!
OH MY! I am so excited!! Thank you, Jodi!!
congrats winners! woo hoo
The MCP Photoshop actions are the greatest! I’ve incorporated Hi-def sharpening into my workflow and I’m very happy with the results.
The contests, such as contest #2 with an Adorama $75 gift card and a one week rental from BorrowLenses is a great prize. Normally you can only win these in a raffle at pro workshops. If I won, I’d buy an overhead scrim fabric to better my outdoor lighting. In addition, I would rent the Canon 85mm, 1.2 and take pictures, outside with my overhead lighting rig.
