I have the actions you used here, Jodi, but it is so helpful to actually be visually reminded of how to get the most out of them. Thanks so much!

This really is a lovely piece. But it’s important to remember, that this is not photography as it really was not there, but it is wonderful graphic art.

Me again … just wanted to say I never though of just tapping on the eyes with the sharpening in the eye action. I always bring it in super pixely and try to draw it on far away shots. I also never thought of masking out the eyes on a lot of the crackle/pop contrast type actions. These video tutorials are so helpful!

This is a great tutorial – I really like the video approach over the before/after blueprints.

And: I love, Love LOVE the idea of using Select Color Range for masking!

    Hi Jodi,

Loved your demonstration. I don’t have photoshop but would love to purchase the software. How much is a basic photoshop program? I hear it’s very expensive. In the $800 range? Thanks.
