I need this lens for shooting weddings as I am currently using a canon 70-200 lens – it’s so heavy that it makes my back hurt after a long day of carrying it. Also because of the weight it causes me to shake and in turn get shake in photos.
I would be using this lens for weddings and in my daily shooting.
I currently use an 85mm for 90% of my portraits. Ready for a different lens to WOW me!
Why do I “need” this lens? I do a lot of wedding photography, and this would be perfect for either the closer shots, or for great shots at the back of the church!
I would be using this for all of my photography…primarily portraits.
I currently use either my 35-70mm or my 55-200mm, but I would like a little more “oomph” for those “back of the church” shots!
I have used photoshop a little through classroom but am still learning about it. Have not used pre-sets. I would love to have this lens for my Nikon to do weddings, more outside and sports photography.

I need this lens because I have a Sigma 24-70 2.8 and it is horrible…..have sent it back twice for focusing issues. I have a Tamron 70-200 2.8 and LOVE it! I reeeeaaaallly need the lower range so I can get rid of this Sigma! This would be the best gift ever because there is nothing I hate worse than unsharp photos and the Sigma is soft and my other Tameron is not.Pleeeeaaaaase!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would be so grateful for this lens for my canon – I currently switch lenses all the time from my big one that only stops down to 3.5 to my little that stops down to 1.8… this lens would help me from switching back and forth during a shoot and save me so much time

I’ve been shooting and studying for a little over 4 years now but just recently was able to obtain some of the equipment needed to make a business out of it. I was able to take out a loan for a Canon 5d Mark II & a 50mm lens but I could really use a zoom lens as well. The reach on my 50 just doesn’t cut it sometimes. My upgrade was only a small step towards everything I need but considering what I upgraded from it was huge for me. This Tamron lens would certainly help take me another step in the right direction!!! It’s a little sad but I don’t think I’ve ever shot on a lens that zooms past 135!

I have the 24 to 70 2.8 canon but no image stabalization. I do alot of sports photography and landscape. I know this would make my pics better. Many times I pull over and shoot from my car and the car engine running can sometimes make it hard to get a clear shot. I want to start doing more portraits too. Would love love to have this lens.
