Contest: Enter to Win Dry Erase Photo Boards from Color Inc.
Contest: Enter to Win Dry Erase Photo Boards from Color Inc.
It’s not too early to start thinking of stocking-stuffers, teach gifts, presents and more for this upcoming Holiday Season. Whether it is for your own family or as an offering to your customers, custom printed photo dry erase boards are fun presents. They range in price from 12.50 to 25.00 depending on size.
Color Inc Pro Lab, an MCP Sponsor, recently added dry erase boards to their offerings. I just received mine (I ordered 6) and I have to tell you, they are AMAZING. The print quality is spectacular, the finish on them reminds me of their pearl prints, almost a light metallic feel. They are beautiful. Whoever thought I’d say that about a dry erase board?
My twins went crazy, as I ordered them each one of the other – you know they love to draw all over each other… And then I ordered a few for our fridge, and a few for relatives for the holidays. They include a marker and are covered in back with magnets.
Here are the dry erase boards of my twins – for my twins. They already managed to add mustaches, beards and crazy hair-dos on each other.
You can order the “my own design” like this, using the MCP Rounded Print It Boards as a base.
Or you can quickly move photos into your Roes templates and create boards like these:
And here is a photo of the back of one:

If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts?
Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
I might use one of the templates!
What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?
I think they would be great to gift to VIP clients, but I think it could also be marketed as a great “grandma” gift to let clients buy.
Attaching a picture of the dry erase board I’ve already gotten, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it
I would love to make 2 for my twin girls also. I would make up my own design, would make great gifts also.
These are by far the best looking Dry Erase Boards I have seen! I would use one for me and my family and one for a functional sample. I would like to make my own design from scratch! I think they would be a great promotional item to offer with purchases of at least $XXX – or as a thank you gift to loyal customers. Heck they’d even make great gifts for the in-laws
I have an MCP banner and link on my blog. http://kristacampbellphotography.com/blog
I get daily updates
I “suggested” MCP to my photog friends on FB
I would use one because I need to know what to tell my clients about functionality. And the other for a Christmas gift to my mom who would in turn share it with the WORLD!!
Two is simply not enough! I need one for the daily “to-do’s” so I don’t lose my mind. I need two for teachers, two for my twins, one for my oldest son to draw on my twins, one for my “pose list” when I’m off to a session, and of course one for each set of grandparents because they’ll be jealous when they see mine
They look awesome!
I saw those in ROES the other day and ALMOST got one! I love color inc.
I also follow you guys in my RSS reader
Awesome giveaway! I would love to give one to my niece (a brandnew mother) and my sister (grandma) this Xmas! I think the calendar would be great to help the new mom keep track of “stuff”, while the full-size picture board attached to the file cabinent in grandma’s 6th grade class would give her super bragging rights! Excellent marketing tools to use in newborn photography businesses!
Question one is easy! I would use them as gifts! I have great photos of my niece and I’d love to give one dry erase board to her mom and another to grandma!
I would probably dabble with the template but knowing me, I’d end up created my own design.
Love your blog – always great info and great guest writers!
wow, these are super fun!
I’d love to make a sample board for clients: this would be a super fun board to use baby pics on as a gift to grandparents, or for a bride & groom, housewarming, omg so many great uses!
I’d probably start out by using the templates.
This would be such a fun thing to offer clients.
So tempting to keep one!
Love these! They are so creative!
I would definitely give them to friends and family as gifts and maybe one for myself too.
I like the calendar design in Roes.
I think I would make the suggestion that this kind of thing is out there but I wouldn’t necessarily market them.
I have your link on my blog.
If I won two of these I would keep one for myself (I mean how cool are these?) and then give one to my mom for Christmas- what a great gift! I would probably use one of the free templates to design mine. And I don’t have a business (YET!) so I would probably think of this as a future item I might offer.
very cool! I never thought I would be excited about dry erase boards, but these are nice!
I would give one to each of my kids for their upcoming Dec birthdays- to use on their college room doors. WOuld use one of the templates since are cute!
I love these!! They will make great Christmas gifts. I would give one to my parents and my momma in law. I would use the free templates to start. These are so cool.
I’ve got your button on my blog.
I subscribed to your daily updates in google reader.
I’d probably use the templates, then keep one for myself and give one to my bestfriend cuz we both have unsteady work schedules to keep track of.
If I were to win I would give them away to the grandparents as gifts. I think I would probably want to design my own rather than use the templates. I think these could be used as a “cheat” board on shoots. Or give them to customers as a thank you gift.
I would love to have these, one for my girls to look at and one for my husband when he deploys. We are always using dry erase boards, so I think one customized with our photos would make the deployment a little happier =)
oh wow!! I Love these! What a neat Idea, if I won I hate to sound greedy but I would def keep one for myself, & maybe give one to my Mom for Christmas.
Going to share this on Facebook now!!!
These would be so great for church! The kids could draw *and be quiet* and parents around me would see my art. It’s a Win/Win!
Wonder if they make clipboards? That would be awesome to take on shoots with contracts etc.
I think I would use a template in Roes.
I’d LOVE these! I would use them as gifts and customer Xmas gifts! They’d be great giveaways on blogs/facebook pages also! I would use one of your templates or their free ones.
Brilliant idea! What would I do? I’m a carer and my business supports carers and especially those they care for. These would be perfect for those with dementia. If I won, I’d print up two – one sample and one for the person I provide care for. The images would help to make the boards meaningful and relevant to those (our loved ones) who have memory issues and need this type of display for their ‘daily stuff’. Currently we use normal whiteboards but these provide that wonderful opportunity to link back to the person with meaningful images that gain their buyin to reading the boards. I’d probably try to use existing templates at first but would customize over time as they became more popular…
* If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts?
I would keep one for myself and probably use the other for a sample.
* Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
template
* What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?
possibly add to products that we sell
•If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts?
My daughters would be THRILLED to have something like this , so I would keep one for them and keep one for a sample as I think some of my clients would find this fun too !!
•Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
I would most likely try the Roes
•What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?
I would offer these for childrens sessions, I think kids would find these particularly fun!! they could also work for boudoir sessions to give their man with their sexy image on them to use for work
I would give them to my kids. They are learning to write and would have such fun practicing their writing on their own photos! I’d probably use one of the Roes templates for now, but it would be fun to have the opportunity to create a design in the future. It would be a fun offering for families who were looking for different gift options. Very fun!
I would love to win these dry erase boards. My two daughters love drawing on these boards and practicing doing the alphabet and math problems on these. A perfect Christmas present.
These are so cute! I think I would do the same thing and get one for each of my daughters. Awesome idea!
I would love to have the boards for show and gifts. I would use the company templants then go from there. I think it would be a great marketing idea..
mi would give one to my middle child – Gabby – she is sad her picture isn’t on the fridge ad I would use this to put her there.. the other I would give to my mom cause my kids are there so much they would love to be on grannys fridge too and granny would love it as well – WIN WIN
1. one for myself and the other to use as a sample
2. hard to decide….I would probably do both at some point
3. they would make great give-a-aways or as promo items to give to my biz partners to cross market our businesses
As A wedding photographer I would use one as a sample and have an engagement photo put in of one of my couples & calendar layout on there, then would use it as a sample to show couples they could use this cute design to keep track of their wedding plans!
I like the idea of using a premade template, fast and easy works for me!
If I used them for my business I would use it for checklists. Right now I keep a to-do list at my desk of personal todos and business todos so that I can keep things seperate and stay focused.
I would give one away to a client and the 2nd I would use as an example maybe when showing clients a wall design…I’m kinda a doodler! I would be more likely to use a template…and I would use this in my busines as a to do list or instead of scratch paper while helping a client order~
Wow–these are great! If I won, I think I would host my own contest for my clients! Of course I would take photos of the finished products in order to add these to my product offerings. I’ll take a look at the ROES templates, but I would probably end up creating some templates of my own using MCP products or maybe even my album design software.
I add you on twitter.
I think I’d give one to each of my kids for Christmas. These are awesome! As much as I’d love to design my own, I’d probably end up using their template. LOL! I don’t currently have a business, but this would be a great sample piece when I do.
these are really neat when I read the post on FB it didnt seem to exciting but theyare super cute!
I would give one to my folks and use the templates to create something wonderful for them as they don’t get to see the grandkids but every few years.
I’d keep the other for myself and use it to sell with photo packages
make it an option when purchasing prints….
1) If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts?
*I would keep one for myself and depending on what picture was used would be what I would do with the other one.
2)Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
* Im sure I would use one of the templates the 1st time around.
3)What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)?
*As the main sports shooter for the football team I would give one to the coach.
Already *like* you on facebook.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE!!!!
1. I would definetly use at least one to promote them and maybe use one as an incentive gift from met to a senior rep! What a cool idea to add to Senior packages!
2. I would probably use the free templates, and then try to create my own….
3. I would love to add these to my family and Senior packages! I think these are soooo great! I would use them as a gift for upgraded packages. Another idea would be to give them to a senior as a gift for bringing in a certain amount of new business.
xx I HOPE I WIN!!! xx

I would keep one to use for studio organization. And give the other to my mom with pictures of my kids on it.
I would probably buy Design Aglow’s template.
I would love to have an easy place to remind me of sessions, proofing and blogging.
I would use one as a gift for my sister with a picture of my niece on it. The other would be a sample. I would love to try out some of Color Inc’s templates. I would love to offer these as a product in my photography business. I think they would go great for holiday gifts or even back-to-school time (I’m thinking kids might put them in their lockers). Also, the calendar ones might make a great marketing item/gift to clients.
What an awesome product!
I just added a link to your site on my blog!
If I won 2 dry erase boards I would print one for myself and one for a sample. I would use one of Color Inc’s templates and possibly attempt my own design for the second one. In my business I would promote these to busy families to keep schedules on the fridge alone with the images on the dry erase board. I think these would be great for mom’s and grandmas!
Posted on Twitter!
I would keep one as a studio sample and use the other for my mother in law. She LOVES photos and is difficult to buy for… this would be the perfect gift!
• I would give one to my grandmother since she is the number one “girl” in my life and the other would go to my grandson since he is the number one “boy” in my life!
• I would probably use the Roes.
• I think these will be a huge hit with my customers for gifts!
These are so neat!! My girls are both really into dry erase boards right now, and they would go crazy if they could each have one with their photo on it, so I’d probably keep both. I would use a Roes template due to save time. I think these would great awesome clients gifts too!

I would love to win these to give as gifts! Both sets of my parents live in Florida, while me and my family live in California. I know my mom and Stepmom would go crazy for these with my boys’ on them. I would use one of Color Inc.’s templates to make it. What a great product to have to show a client for the holiday season!
These dry erase boards would be great on a wall in my home office and as a gift to my sister, a school teacher.
I like the templates Color Inc. offers, but I’d enjoy designing my own and customizing it to my needs.
Sending these to clients that have high traffic in their offices/businesses is good for marketing. The dry erase board can be in a lobby of a doctor’s office and serve as a place to put a catchy phrase or quote like “Be a picture of good health.” Sounds corny, but corny phrases are often the most memorable!
In any case, photo dry erase boards are another great product for photographers and clients everywhere.
I would definitely use one to make a gift for my parents who live in South Africa and don’t get to see my son too often. The other would be for us to enjoy while also serving as a sample for clients.
Hope I’m not too late
1. I would use these for my two girls. They will just love them.
2. Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes?
3. I think this would be a great promo to send out.
If I won the boards, I would give one to my sister and keep one, but use it as a sample. Then I would order them as Christmas gifts! I’m already planning this.
I think I’d start with the free templates, then get creative eventually.
Also, I would add this to our products to customers and bring my own along on shoots as an example. Very cool product for a good price!
I would love to win these… I would probably keep them as samples..!! and I might make my own designs but die to time I probabalywould use premade templates!!
I would keep one and give one away as a gift.
I would make one for my husband’s desk and one for my fridge – subjects would be my girls of course
I would most likely use one of their templates unless I had a little free time to design something on my own. Time with 3 under 5 hmmm….
I do not have a business but I can totally see how these would be fabulous to show to clients. They are awesome! Thanks
I think the dry erase boards are soooo cool! Would love to win them!

If you win 2 dry erase boards, who would you give them to? Right now, I would give them as Christmas gifts to grandparents.
Would you print up samples or use them for yourself? A customer? Or as holiday gifts? Right now I’d use them as gifts, but when we return to the States, I would use them as promotional items. I would put a couple of pictures of a family from a recent shoot, along with my business information, as a “freebie” in a photo package. They would likely keep it forever, since their loved ones are included, and their friends and family would easily see my information – great marketing tool!
Would you want to make design your own from scratch or use one of Color Inc’s Free templates in Roes? I would definitely use the free templates!
What ideas would you have for using these as part of your business (if you have one)? As stated above, I would use these for marketing. I might also take pictures of flowers or food from florists or caterers at events, then give them a dry erase calendar with samples of their work, along with samples of my work, to display in their business… again, keeping my business info displayed. It would be beneficial to their business, as well as my own.
I’d probably give them away as “thank yous” to people who are helping me get started with photography–maybe one to my “constant photo subjects (nieces’/nephews’ families) and also maybe to my first “real” portrait shoot subjects’ family.
And they’re so super cute, I’d probably have to order a couple for me.
I would love to have one for myself (and a sample) and one to give away to my inlaws for a Christmas gift. They look so fun!
I would order one for myself and another for my parents. I would have to look at the templates first and then decide whether to use one or design my own.
If i win, I’d use it as a gift for my customers ordering a holiday session !
This is a great idea! I would definitely give these away as gifts to my 2 nieces with pictures of their little ones on the boards. I will use the templates provided just to make it easier. This would be a cute gift idea for clients that order during the holidays.
I am also posting a link to the contest on my Facebook page.
I would be keeping one as a sample, and using one for myself! Then, I’d order a bunch more for Xmas gifts, because, who could resist? I think clients would LOVE these. I think I’d use them as incentives for buying bigger packages. Or just as gifts. I would probably design my own, but when I’m in a rush, the free templates look awesome!
Oh, these are great!! I will definitely use them as holiday gifts and will most likely use one of the templates. My husband would love one of these with his grandson’s pictures on it!!
wow–talk about a creative christmas gift (if i can part with both of them–not sure i could); i would be sure to rely on my own creativity–my imagination is racing–for my daughter, some favorite photos of their horseback tour through washington state’s wine country; for my mother, photos from her 80th birthday party; for me, a blazing fall color photo of a cemetery where we found some ancestors–genealogy, you know? i could come up with something for everyone on my list. these are gorgeous!!! dw
