An iPad2 would make showing a portfolio to everyone a whole lot easier, as well as letting me read eBooks, online magazines etc in colour.
I would LOVE to win one for my daughter to use because it would help her with her Speech! Her Speech teacher uses one with her all the time…and I wish she had one at home!
An IPad2 would keep my husband and I from fighting over our computer when I want to edit 200 pics while he’s wanting to be online. He could browse the web on the Ipad while I edited!
It would be a game changer! I would be able to set up in home viewings for each shoot to go through pictures with my clients! And when I do pet shoots I would be able to share all the images on pick up (right now they just order full length or close up) and allow them to order on the spot!! The possibilities are endless!
How would I use an iPad 2? Well, all of the time for everything! At home with my kids, to read books, to update my blog and of course, to have some fun with. I’m an amateur photographer and don’t take photos as well as professionals so I would be lying if I could say it would help with a photography business. I’m a Marriage and Family therapist who works mostly with kids and they often create things in session (intricate sand trays that they put a lot of effort into) and I’ve always wanted an iPad so I can upload photos of their creations to so when I go to supevision with my supervisor, we can have a crystal clear and large shot of their creations to discuss.
We live three states away from our family in FL, so having this iPad2 would make it so much easier to share my images with the grandparents! Plus, I’ve heard it makes for great in-home proofing with clients!

Wow an IPad2 would let me take my pictures ANYWHERE at anytime. This would be a dream. I could enjoy my family without locking me into the computer room.
An iPad would encourage me to share my images with others rather than hide them on my hard drive.
I love would an ipad! I dont have business but i’m always taking pictures and i would love to have something to bring with me to my miother-in-laws house. They don’t have a computer, so it’s hard to show them pictures of their granddaughter. This would make it sooo much easier!
An ipad 2 would be an excellent way to further my children’s exploration in digital art. They love the doodle buddy and face in hole apps already and would be able to do so much more on the ipad’s large screen. My 8 year old is already interested in learning photography and photoshop. This would be great for me, as well, to be able to share my work very easily.
i would absolutely LOVE to win an ipad2… i am a growing photographer and this would be an amazing way to help me learn even more and a great tool to use to show clients photos and information when we meet up for session consults. i would seriously be so grateful and would get so much use out of it. i would just LOVE to win this amazing prize!
I would love to have the ipad!!! My laptop is large so it’s hard to carry around to show my photos. The ipad would be great for doing that and would help get my greeting card business mobile.

An ipad2 would keep me from hauling around all those physical photos when I go to meet with clients at coffee shops, it would allow me to send replies and update blog/facebook faster when I’m away shooting, and, most importantly, it would keep my soon-to-be five year old son occupied and learning when I’m working on a big project!

I love the idea of hooking up my camera so I can check see if certain shots are as sharp as I think they are before I move on.
I have been lusting after the Ipad 2 since it came out! I would LOVE to be able to carry around a portable portfolio! It would be amazing to have that at my fingertips at all times. Having an ipad 2 would really help my business. I could let clients view their proofs on a correctly calibrated screen, and could also use it as a digital portfolio. Also, it would allow my kids to be able to do their homework on the ipad, while I’m using the home computer to edit.
I would love to have an iPad 2 for my growing photography business – I think it would be a very slick device to showcase my portfolio to my clients.

The most obvious improvement would be the fastest way to share the production. It would very easy to involve the customers in the postproduction flow and make it more participative.

As an Englishman living in Germany, it can be extremely difficult in finding new portrait clients, especially as my German isn’t very good. I teach at an English school part-time, to supplement my income, and show interested, mature students my best work on my iPhone 4.
They look really good on there, but of course, the screen is pretty small for that kind of purpose. I’ve wanted an iPad as a portfolio/marketing tool since I first saw one, as I believe it would really help me to convert more of those leads into paying work.
As an aside, buying English-language books and magazines is very expensive. A $5 dollar magazine costs me nearer to €20-25! I already use the Kindle and iBook software on my iPhone, which is OK, but trying to read my digitally-subscribed magazines (which are far, far cheaper) on Zinio, is really not a satisfying experience.
If I could afford an iPad, like most, I would buy one, in an instant.
This could be a real game-changer for me, so thank you at least for the chance of winning one.

An iPad would be wonderful for sharing pictures at family gatherings. I’m not a professional, but it’s still great to get the instant feedback!
I would LOVE an iPad too for in-home ordering!! It would me so much easier then lugging a laptop around or even sending them to a gallery online. I am all about the one-on-one with my clients and think that this would just help me go that extra mile for them

THe ipad would be an amazing tool for me… Photography is my hobby, an not having a computer for the last 4 years ~ i have pictures in varies locations… To be able to keep them in one place would be great! Not to mention being able to carry them anywhere to show off. Thank you for a great giveaway!
My photography is mainly just a hobby…but is branching out with family and friends! I would LOVE to have access to all of these apps (posing ideas…yay!),without having to lug my laptop around….the ipad can fit right in my camera bag! I can also hope that if I bribe my children with access to it after…that maybe THEY will let me take their picture

My goal this year is to get an IPAD somehow, someway! We travel a lot to seen grandkids and it would be a nice small item to carry around in order to browse the internet, take pictures on the run, etc!

An iPad would help me edit the many sports photos I take and share of my kids and their teammates. I could bring it to the field and share it with the parents right away. I could also share the photos and do activiteis with my girls scout troop and their parents and organize their badge earning opportunities.
Having an Ipad2 could make a HUGE impact on my life. As a new photographer I invision myself being able to show photos to my clients on the spot without having to be in my home. this could make my business more profitable as people are more likely to purchase on the spot versus having to wait to see proofs. On a personal level I would like to share the Ipad2 with my 9yo son who is autistic. I have learned so much from him. It would make a major impact on him as he is a visual learner. The Ipad2 could encourage him to broaden his horizons of knowledge and increase his academic success.

Winning an iPad2 would add a new dimension to our family, for sure. Not sure how it would work out, but I have a feeling the kids and DH would use it and I would be able to work more freely on the PC editing and playing around with my nature photography!

Ahhh ~ it would be so wonderful to showcase my portfolio to potential clients and galleries to current clients. I could also take all my “paper documents” to a complete digital system with having clients review & sign directly on the ipad (my iphone is just not large enough to do this). I have also thought about some “on the spot” booth type sessions and the ipad would allow me to show clients their product for ordering. YEAH!
If I had an Ipad…I think I’d be in shock at first and then I’d feel spoiled. =) I feel it would definitely be an advantage for portfolio use. I would use it in this capacity and then enjoy the freedom it offers from my laptop. Ohhh… the possibilities!
An IPad 2 would allow me to become a better photographer because it would allow me to take my ideas on the road with me as well as preview my shots on the go.

An iPad2 would be awesome for my business! I’m thinking of mostly using it as s posing guide/field guide when I’m out shooting, but also as a fun way to start in-house consultations/viewing sessions (I don’t have a laptio at the moment so it’s pretty much impossible.)
Having an iPad would make in home viewings possible! So much more intimate vs. having clients look at an online gallery.

Well, I don’t own a business but I am an amateur photographer who loves to learn about photography. Every night I sit on my couch reading photography forums and it would be great to be able to view the forums a little better with an ipad!
the iPad 2 would be great. I am hoping it would be a great saver on my portfolio prints. I am just starting out and have spent $$$ on a printed portfolio. As i need to change images out to tailor towards each shoot, I am looking at my options with the iPad as the portfolio due to the screen size.

An ipad 2 would make help my photography for showing work on the spot or in the field for events. The ipad also has apps that help to aid you in photography work flow. New technologies always open doors for new uses all the time. Orderingwould be musch more efficients and speedy, customers always wanting photos as soon as they can get them. Faster turn arounds would help here.
I’m not a professional photographer yet, but hopefully in the near future. iPad 2 would be great for me out to show clients and potential clients my work.
I would love to be able to show portfolios which are specific to the job I am pitching for. I would also love to have some posing guides and inspirational photos available for those moments when my brain fails me!
An IPad2 would be so awesome! My laptop can be really heavy and bulky to take with me places. I would love to just toss an IPad in my bag and take it with me.
