It’s pretty momentous that a couple of fellow participants are your guest bloggers today. Surprise, it’s Catherine Cella and Daphne Ellenburg!
In photography, it’s easy to get in a rut of photographing the same thing over and over. It doesn’t even feel like a rut because you’re honing your skills and improving on your favorite photography. MCP Project 52 really has made 2011 “rut-free” for us. Who knew we’d love photographing more than just babies, brides and pretty faces? Belonging to Project 52 has been a wonderful place to make friends, share ideas, learn new processing tips and to be with others who share the same passion for photography as we do. Best of all, it leaves no time for dust to settle on our cameras because we are out there every week.
Momentous occasions are all around you. This week our creative group of photographers were easily able to find occasions that were momentous to us all, like the anniversary of 9/11. However, many others were also able to find Life’s momentous occasions, like growing babies, big finds and big wins!
Now, on to our top nine, as always in no particular order. If you enjoy the artist, visit the link to their work directly below and send them some LOVE. Everyone can use an encouraging pat on the back, so go ahead and pat away. Ready. Set. Go!

Big thanks to all the photographers that participate in MCP Action’s Project 52 each week with us. Your photographs continue to inspire us to visit new places, try new things and to keep learning this art. If you haven’t joined our group yet, what are you waiting for? There are plenty of weeks left in this year with plenty of great themes for you to dig right into. This is a fun group and you will be welcomed.
