Imagine winning our upcoming Lightroom Preset Collection, Quick Clicks, before it is available on our website.  Be the first of your photographer friends to edit your photos using this modular Lightroom system.
Three lucky photographers will win our entire Quick Click Collection in this photo contest on October 6th.  Quick Clicks will be available in October, so check back with us for the official release date.

ENTER NOW – Just 3 easy steps:

  1. Create a before and after Blueprint using Photoshop actions from MCP. What’s included in a Blueprint?  An original unedited photo on the top or left (depending if horizontal or vertical), an edited photo on the bottom or right, and a text description of what actions or processes you used, step by step. No purchase is necessary – you may used any combination of our Photoshop actions to create your “after” look. If you do not wish to buy a product, you can download our free photoshop actions.
  2. Post your Blueprint on your Blog. Include the unedited and edited photos.  Make sure to label the before and the after, but we do hope it is obvious.  Then write a short explanation of what steps you used, what MCP actions were used, and any other thoughts you have on the edit. Add links to our site and/or to the MCP products you used so people viewing your work know where to find them.
  3. Email us a link to your post. Send us an email to [email protected]. In the subject line write: “MCP Actions Blueprint Contest.” In the body of the email add a link to the blog post.  Please send the exact URL not a link to your main page.

BONUS: We have a second giveaway running too! You have one more chance to win, NO PHOTO ENTRY REQUIRED – Enter NOW.

HOW WINNERS WILL BE PICKED:

As most of you know, I love having my twins, Ellie and Jenna, involved in my business when possible.  They will be judging.  HINTS: They love vibrant colors, fun images, and lifestyle photography. They do not like kissing pictures (remember they are 9 year old girls – boys have cooties to them).

The winners will be announced on the MCP Blog on October 6th, 2011. Entries must be received by October 5th at 4pm Eastern time.

Please remember, photography is subjective.  By entering this photo contest, you understand that the winners will be picked by a mix of luck, talent, or even the opinion of two young photographers. Good luck!

WHAT IF I WANT TO ENTER BUT….

Question: What if I do not have Photoshop or Elements?

Answer: You can download a free 30 day trial from Adobe’s Website.

Question: What if I do not own any Photoshop actions from MCP Actions?

Answer: You can buy some OR download our free actions.

Question: What if I win and do not have Lightroom?

Answer: We think you will want it once you see these! You can always do a Lightroom 3 trial as well.

Question: What if I do not have a blog?

Answer: If you do not have a blog, you can share on your Facebook Page.  Follow the same procedure to show us where you posted it.  This option is only available if you honestly have no blog. Or maybe this will be just the excuse you need to create a blog…

Question: Can I share the Blueprint on the MCP Facebook Wall?

Answer: Of course you can! But posting to our wall does not enter you in this contest.  We love when people share their images on our Facebook Page.  In fact, you can share photos edited with MCP products anytime, not just for the contest.  You can share your edited work or show your unedited/edited photos at any time.

Are we allowed to submit more than one blueprint? Thanks! These presets look awesome!

Yes – you can – each must be in a separate post and send us a link to each. Thanks!

Love your actions and look forward to the lightroom presets. The contest is cool, but I would much rather upload YOUR blog.. I really don’t care to share all the technical details of what I do with my clients on my blog. Professional studios already have enough competition with soccer moms! Why share it all?
