I have the Canon G11, the predecessor to the G12, and it is the best P&S I have owned.  It is amazing for those days where I do not want to lug around my Canon 5D MKII and bunches of lenses. I love the quality and can shoot RAW for more control in post processing.

I love that you can shoot in manual, or A/S modes! Gives me more control. I have liked the MCP facebookpage for quite a while, and that’s where I found this giveaway :)

I am usually shooting with a Nikon D7000, and I don’t own a point&shoot. But it sure would come in handy sometimes!

  2. 2302

I love the HD video capability!
    I currently shoot with a Cannon 50D
    Still a fan

    -I like Adorama on facebook.

I love that you can shoot RAW with this P&S. I normally use a Nikon D7000, but with four kids and all the stuff that comes with them, it sure can be clunky. A nice little P&S would come in handy some days!

My favorite thing about this camera is that it shoots RAW. I love the size of a point & shoot, but the ability to do all the things that I rely most on from my “big” camera.

My current DSLR is a Canon Xti and my point & shoot is a Canon powershot.

I’ve been a MCP fan for awhile now. :)

  6. 2306

Thank you for the contest. I like MCP already on FB :) . Currently we use the Canon S95. Favorite feature of this camera would have to be the photo effects it offers.

Liked on FB. I love that this camera has manual controls for when I want to shoot but auto for when my kids or husband want to use the camera! I love that it can take raw images as well! How cool is that?! Right now I am using a Nikon D200 and I have no idea where my point and shoot camera is? That’s how often I use it.

I love the manual settings and how you can adjust the screen. I also love the video and picture quality and the ISO options. The HD video is amazing and if I do win, I can’t wait to get a fisheye for it and take some awesome videos of the beach/surfing here in Hawaii.

I had a very old canon rebel xt (silver) and it recently just broke. (I’m a broke college student so winning would be nice )

    I am a fan :)

I posted the banner to my blog and it is on there right now, and I also liked Adorama.

    1. I love the fact that the camera, although being a P&S, enables camera fanatics to shoot using manual mode. Although I admit I lack knowledge in photography techniques, I feel that the Canon G12 allows users to experience the fulfilling moments of recording one’s life whilst experimenting with various techniques and settings before taking hold of the DSLR.

    2. Currently I own a Canon IXUS 80 IS digital camera!

    3. Here’s a picture to confirm that I ‘like’ the page ^^

I have two fav features of this camera!

A host of optional accessories including Speedlite flashes, underwater housing and Tele-Converter Lens are available
High Dynamic Range scene mode combines multiple shots into one picture showing greater image detail.

I currently do not have a point and shoot only my D7000 (Nikon). But with twins on the way- this would be a perfect additional to my camera bundle.

Yes, love you and BIG fan!! FB like too :)

I am currently using two Canon PowerShot’s the SX130IS and the SX210IS. I love the weight of the Canon’s and the ease at which they capture photos…but I think it’s time to upgrade or try another Canon. To be honest, I’d like to have them all!

    • Rachel Warner says:

Facebook and Yahoo both were rotating my pictures, so I put it on it’s side, for it to come up straight. Please rotate it for me to have it straight! Or send it back, I couldn’t find a delete to resubmit! Sorry.
