Definitely the skin tones – clearly not a problem that’s unique to just me, going by the rest of the entries!
Getting that skin to look as creamy and soft as it does in real life!
Tweeted it, too! @ellermom
Skin tones and dry, flaky skin.
definately skin tones!!!!!!
shared your facebook page on facebook!!!!!
My toughest challenge is poses and then upset moms …. They don’t realize I’m used to it and I’m a mom of almost grown kids. I wish they would relax. Lol… Then of course the skin tones in Photoshop.
I posted to FaceBook!
Yes, skin tone! Trying to find that perfect balance between reducing the red areas and not making the whole baby look blue.
As with most, skin tones are my biggest challenge!
Newbie, so everything is challenging at this point!!!
Smooth, even beautiful skin.
Posted on my facebook, thank you!
Skin tones definitely & baby crankiness doesn’t help
The toughest thing for me with newborn sessions is transitioning and of course, skin tones in the post production:) —— <3
Body fluids! My props, my partner and myself have been urped on, piddled on, pooed on, cried on and drooled on. Thank goodness my partner is a true “baby whisperer” not to mention a great photographer. But having said that, and the goal being a peaceful, dreamy, serene baby shot, a set of actions that will help create the mood will be great and hopefully be a real time saver. Getting the creamy smooth skinned look can be a challenge when most newborns are blotchy and dry. If these actions are like the ones I already own I know they will be great.
Their ruddy skin tone
I am a beginner so it is all a challenge. Actions can really take some of the work out of editing!

My biggest challenge with newborn photos is getting great skin tone and have their skin look creamy and rich.
My biggest problem is getting the skin tones right. Although I like to keep it real and not touch up too much, sometimes a little bit of “creamy” is just what the doctor ordered.
Just shared this on FaceBook!
Hi there Shawna! A Photoshop action is a pre-recorded vairety of editing processes created by the designer to be used again and again. This means that at the touch of a button you can apply beautiful effects to your photography without having to know or understand the various processes that go into the editing itself. All you need to know how to do is click play , and the work is done. Not only does it create gorgeous effects for your photos, but it speeds up your workflow substantially! I hope that makes sense! If you would like to see some tutorials of how to use them, check these out here: I hope that helps
Big hugs!xoxo
Skin tones is my problem, getting that creamy look.
Hope you guys can help
My biggest challenge is the skin tones and the little flacky skin.
I agree with most of the comments…the smooth skin and nice tones are a tough one for me.
I would say skin tones for me too.
Shared this on my facebook page
The biggest challange is when parents skin tone is different than baby and you have to try to change one different than the other.
I think the biggest challenge with newborn photos is getting the smooth creamy looking skin, that is the right colour, getting it to look soft & translucent while not looking fake or over-edited…getting the image to look almost ‘dreamy’ – which can be very time consuming for a new-to-newborn photographer while still learning the basics in photoshop
Skin tones
Getting creamy, beautiful skin tones!
The skin tones!!!! uggghhh
DEFINATELY skin tones! And positioning…. I could still use alot of tips on that! I just found your fb page… very excited to try your actions!
Hi, just added on my fb page an extra shout out to your page! Sorry if this entry is late, I just found you! Excited I did
Skin tones! And positioning… and Timing! They are alot harder to photograph than people think!
My biggest challenge is making the baby look soft without being too soft!
Red hands and feet. Also, smooth skin and getting rid of heat rashes.
Baby skin tones always give me trouble
def skin tones are the biggest challenge. getting the skin creamy and perfectly toned without removing too much of the color, yet doing away with the red splotches/bumps. seems challenging even under the correct white balance. look to be an awesome set.
The skin tones for me. already posted (On April 16th, MCP Actions newest Photoshop Action Set, Newborn Necessities, will be available. If you photograph babies, enter to win it before you can buy it: http://mcpactions.com/blog.) on twitter @mikepfs & on Facebook

Biggest problem is definately the skin tones…..I can’t wait for this set to be released!!!!!

I am a newbie, so getting the posing right was difficult for me (but I have only had ONE infant so far!)
Nightmare skin tones that need to be dreamy and creamy by morning! Please wake me up from this bad dream with the gift of a ‘quick’ fix so I can give my Clients the sweetest gift of all ”beautiful’ memories! I’m going to bed now and hoping the MCP Fairy comes.
