The Ultimate Shootsac Lens Bag Giveaway + Discount Code
This contest is now over. If you were not lucky this time, remember you can get $25 off a $75+ purchase at Shootsac by using the discount code: MCPSS12. Code expires 7/31/12.
The winner is Lauren Elizabeth Henry. Entry #602. Shootsac will be in touch about the prize!
Every hobbyist and professional photographer with a d-SLR needs a way to carry his or her gear. I love using my Shootsac while taking pictures to hold extra lenses and extra “stuff.” It holds your lenses and a flash while you carry your camera and do what you are best at – taking pictures!
The winner of this contest will get a newly redesigned Shootsac lens bag + choice of any one cover, subject to availability. I have had a Shootsac for years, and just got the newest version. It is even better than before – it has wider pockets so it easily fits my Canon 70-200 2.8 and it has swivel hooks so you don’t get tangled. I love the stylish new covers, but since I have a LOT of covers, the best news is that my older covers fit my new bag.
Enter now. Here’s how…
The Prize:
- Shootsac Lens Bag with your choice of one cover, subject to availability.
- PROMO CODE for all: Everyone gets $25 off a $75+ purchase at Shootsac by using the discount code: MCPSS12. Code expires 7/31/12.

There are so many exotic destinations to choose from, but think I’d have to follow my dream of seeing to Alaska. Think I’d probably bring my Oly 45mm, Oly 70-300mm & Panny 25mm.
Honestly, There is no place like home. You can travel all over the world and take some of the most beautiful photos, but you can’t capture the same moments that you get at home. So that’s where I would go, if I could go anywhere. I would bring my 50mm 1.8 lens, 70-300mm, and 18-55mm.
I would love to go to Greece with a 70-200mm 2.8, 85mm 1.8, and my 17-55mm 2.8 lenses. =)
I would travel to my partners homeland of the Bahamas and the two of us would finally get married, and what a beautiful backdrop for picture taking, the amazing blue waters and tropical landscape. I am new to the photography world so I would bring my nikon 18-55 mm, 55-200 mm and 17-35 mm.
I have so many places I want to go but right now I really want to go to Cinque Terre after Amanda Bottoms posted about it on her blog. It looks beautiful! I would take Canon 70-200mm,24-70mm 2.8L and 10-22mm 3.4-4.5.

I would go to Paris at night and shot the Eiffel Tower with any Nikon macro, my Nikkor 18-55mm, and my Nikkor 30mm
I would go to the Salton Sea (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salton_sea). I have an obsession with abandoned places, as well as an interest in the environmental issues facing the ‘sea’. As far as packing lenses goes, I would take my nifty fifty (f/1.8), my 17-85 for versatility, and most likely a Lensbaby. I’d love to say I’d pack a tilt-shift lens but I’ve heard those have a bit of a learning curve and I’d like for my hour of shooting not to be stressful.
I would love to be in Hawaii with my Canon 70-200, EF 10-22, EF 135
I would go back to Africa , Victoria Falls (mosiotunya, The Smoke that Thunders) and see it through adult eyes. I would take a fisheye, standard and 70-200 mm and capture the Beauty forever. Xxxx
I visited shootsac website and told them you sent me.
I pinned your site to Pinterest.
I’d be in Jackson Hole,WY with Canon 24-70mm, 70-200mm, and a 85mm.
If I could go anywhere in the world for an hour with my camera, I would love to go to Thailand! How awesome would it be to take photographs of the land, people and history!

I would go to Greece—and take my daughters with me! In my Shootsac would be my 50mm f/1.4, a 70-200mm f/2.8, and a 24-70mm f/2.8.

Tahiti would be my destination w a canon 70-200, 24-70& I’d have to get my hands on a good wide angle lens for some great landscape shots!
Hmmm. So many choices! Right now topping my list is Paris. Lenses: Canon 50mm prime, 70-200 mm, and 18-55mm. Thanks so much for the chance!
I would pick Cork, Ireland… I studied abroad there and can’t wait to go back JUST to take better photos of all my favorite things I miss so much! I would bring my 50mm, and the 24 and 85 if I had them

I went to England in July 2000 and LOVED it… I would def love to go back and take my family…being in London as a single gal was fun, but what a great adventure it would be with my amazing husband and children! I’d take my 50mm, 85mm 1.4 and one of my long-range lenses… not sure which one to choose! Thanks for the entry- so fun!
Visited shootsac- they know it was from you!
I would choose to go to Ireland to document as much as my Ancestors homeland as possible. I would take my Nikon and a 50mm f/1.2 and my 70-300mm. I’m already a fan of your page, just liked Shootsac’s page, shared the giveaway on FB and uploaded a photo as well!
Can’t wait to see if I win!! I never win anything!
I would love to go to Italy and would take my 50mm prime, 70-200, and 24-70. Own the 50mm and someday I’ll win the lotto and get the other two lenses
London! 85mm, 70-200mm, 18-55mm
I would love to go to New Zealand. I’m not exactly sure why, but I have been intrigued with it ever since the movie Lord of the Rings. It has such beautiful scenery and I am sure that the plant and bird life would be quite different from what I usually see here in Florida. I would take the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM, Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 USM Macro
Thanks for the chance to win a Shootsac
I would go to Puerto Rico. My parents were born there and i’ve been a couple of times when i was young. I really don’t remember. i would love to capture my culture with my cameras. Lenses: Macro(if i had it), 50mm, and 70-200(if i had it).
I hope I’m not breaking the rules but I love shooting people, not places and my dad passed away over 10 years ago before I became interested in photography. If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go back to the house I grew up in, with my dad there doing all the things he loved to do that has inspired me so much in my present life. (he also loved photography). I would shoot him in his garden and his workshop. Shoot him with my girls, who are now teenagers because before he passed away he loved playing with them. I’d use my 50mm f/1.4 to capture his face, my 28-75mm f/3.5 for general shooting. Since those are the only two lenses I own I don’t know what the 3rd lens I’d use but I’ve alway dreamed of owning the 70-200mm f/2.8! Thank you.
I’m not a pro. Just shooting photos with passion. When the photo makes my loved ones delight and praise how nice are the photos. I feel complete and satisfied!
ain’t the world should be simple as that?
I am truly grateful to the holder of this website who has
