My photography so far has been self-taught, I’d love to do a class!

I’m just starting my photography business and taking part in the ‘post-shoot workflow’ would a great kick-start for me.
I would love to win a class, namely Through the Looking Glass. I was propelled into my business after my 11 year old daughter suffered a violent trauma. Although I shot an old manual B&W Canon for several years, I have only been working with my dSLR for the last 4 1/2. Photography is what I turn to whenever my life feels chaotic, this time it just stuck. Due to the extent of my daughters injuries I needed to drastically cut my hours as a nurse, and since I needed to supplemtent my income- I went with what I love. However, I didn’t start with a vision, and I need to form a better direction and concept of who I am as a Photographer. I want to be successful, and the MCP product has already given me some priceless insight as to how I edit- now I just need to get better at what I am editing. I find myself suffering with uncertainty, the who what where’s and occasional how. I am hoping a gentle inspirational push will get me back to the photographer I was 15 years ago! I hope I am chosen, and thank’s for reading this!

So hard to choose… From Auto to Manual, Through the Looking Glass, or Inspired Child… hmmm…
Through the Looking Glass would be oh so great! I’ve done a few shoots for friends just for fun, going off what I’ve learned from watching photographers in my own family’s sessions. It would help me tremendously to get these tips from a professional! I’d really love to improve my shoots and be more organized…sometimes knowing where to start is tough.

Would love the class From Auto to Manual! I have been given a beautiful camera for Christmas by my wonderful hubby but really need to learn how to take photos properly.

I have been to a fan for a year or so. I have learned so much and so grateful for you and your Passion for Photography. I am a stay at home Mom and need some additional classes. Postproduction is my weekness. Lightroom class would be so great.

wedding stories! I’ve only been a photographer for a year and have been thinking of going to school to learn more as I am still not completely comfortable behind the camera. There is still a lot for me to learn. I really want to do weddings and this would be a great start to learning more about it. Thank you SO much for this opportunity.

Newborn…start to finish! I am considering jumping from photography as a hobby to taking it to the next level. I have been trying my hand at newborn photography and realize there are quite a few things I need to get a grip on. Positioning baby, post processing to get those skin tones right and more! I would start with from auto to manual. But of course I would like to take them all! I shared on fb.

I would love to be able to attend “Awakening The Spark” being able to really take a hard look at getting inspired and wanting to go out and live every day with my camera – to be excited about what I do. I love every moment I’m out capturing those moments, but then feel like something is missing – something needs to change and get me excited again. So feel this class would be suited perfect for me.

I would love to be a part of the ‘Light, Lines, and Love’ class. I want to know more about how to ‘see’ and use light in the best way possible for each photograph. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed with equipment and how to use it, that I forget that it’s all about how to use the Light and your environment. I really need work in this area.

I would love to take the Inspired Child with Shannon Sewell. In fact, I learned about her via this site and contacted her directly after seeing her website. I love her style…it inspired me. I know I can learn from many photographers but her work touched my creativity. Thank you for sharing your ideas, knowledge and getting us linked with so many in the field.
