Testers Wanted Elements
MCP is looking for testers for an upcoming action set.
Qualifications for the 2-3 testers:
- You will need PS Elements.
- Ability to keep what you see confidential until the set is released
- Ability to follow directions
- Understanding of Photoshop – as PDF directions and videos will not yet be available
- Follow MCP’s terms of use
- At least 1 hour to spend going through and playing each action to look for any bugs or issues
- Ability to give quality feedback, explain bugs, etc
- Writing skills are helpful – as you may have suggestions on wording for instructions (both inside the set and for the PDF tutorials)
- Once the set launches, I appreciate testers posting examples to facebook, Flickr, and/or photography forums (as allowed).
Please send your info to jodi@mcpactions.com. Remember to follow include info below to be considered. I will notified those selected via email. Due to expected high volume of interest, I will be unable to get back to those not chosen.
- Your website/blog
- Your email
- Versions of Elements you have – note all versions you can test on
- Your availability – how soon can you test the set – hours and days you would be able to assist with testing
- Why you feel you would make a good tester
- Note your writing skills – and interest in helping with instructions/written tutorial
If selected, I will expect you to:
- Spend at least 1 hour going through the set – testing – and running each action to look for any bugs or issues
- Report with any glitches, issues, feedback, thoughts, etc.
- Help with wording of the internal stops and instructions, and possibly with PDF instructions
- Keep this set confidential until launch.
- Once the set launches, help spread the word via social networking, forums, etc.
Please only apply if you feel you meet the qualifications and can follow through. There is no compensation for being a tester other than getting the set free – including the final version of the set that is released.
