   This is my all time favorite action, I have had it since it came out. I use it for every shot, even the ones without eyes because it gives me the tools I need to sharpen specific areas or lighten just a certain spot. I love all of MCP actions but this one is a favorite! (Posted on 2/4/10)

   the eye doctor and dentist action was the first action I ever purchased. I absolutely love it (among the many other mcp actions I use)! I use it on just about every portrait I process. My favorites are "whiten the whites" and "sharp as a tack". (Posted on 12/27/09)

   I have been using MCP actions for quite a while now and just last week picked up the ‘Bag of Tricks’ action set.
   
   I can say that the Magic Clarity action as well as the Color Cast action are indispensable!
   
   Every portrait visits the Eye Doctor action and occasionally needs to a take a trip to the Dentist action, what I love most about the Dentist action is its reality and doesn’t at all looked significantly air brushed!
   
   I can’t begin to describe what a time saver the Magic Blog It Boards and Print It Boards have been, especially when it comes to my Wedding Photography and album design.    I am not a big action junkie, but I have a lot of them, and have been asked to review several lately. I do use actions for all of my black/white work and for sharpening pictures both for print and web.
   
   I purchased Jodi's (Eye Doctor/Dentist, Quickie Collection & Blog it Boards) about 6 months ago, and use them for almost all of my final images. Her "Sharp as a Tack" is the best sharpening action I've ever used, and her Eye Doctor/Dentist is wonderful.
   
   I've raved about the Blog it Boards on my own blog because they have cut my blog-prep time in half at least. I also really like her Vanilla Ice Cream (Quickie Collection) for my black and white work. It's a wonderful, creamy, dreamy B&W, and I use it on almost every set.
   
   "Again, I'm not a huge action user, but I think that as Digital Photographers we almost all have to use actions from time to time. If you're going to invest in just one set, consider purchasing Jodi's. A friend described her actions to me the other day as being 'like really good recipes - they just do what they say they are going to do, and turn out every time' and she was correct!"
