I received this email from a photographer. She included her editing steps and have me permission to share them.
“Hey Jodi, I love the more natural look for my photos. I feel with the help of MCP’s Photoshop actions, I can finally obtain the look and feel I have been after for years: natural, clean, crisp and colorful pictures.First I opened the file in ACR and lightened the photo 1 stop up with MCP Mini Quick Clicks free presets. Then I added a little warmth and a little brightness with the ACR sliders. Next I opened the photo in Photoshop and used Vanilla Cream from MCP Fusion actions. I lowered the opacity of Vanilla Cream to 40% and One Click Color to 50%. I opened the One Click Color folder and increased ‘Richen’ to 50%.Then I used your Eye Doctor – Sharp as a Tack at 20% and painted the eye to sharpen them up just a little. I finished with a vignette: Surround, from Fusion, and lowered the fill to 25%.When posting to Facebook or my blog, I ALWAYS run your Perfect Fit: Web Resize & Sharpening action because I feel like it really makes a HUGE difference of how the pictures look on the web. Thanks for your hard work Jodi – it makes my job easier and photos better.– Jeanette, www.jeanettesoffe.blogspot.com“

I love examples and steps on how people edit their photos. Thank you for posting this…I learn so much from examples. And this is a beautiful picture.
I am using pretty much the same settings and Richen to 50% is a must. Also I like to increase Seek settings. My favorite is Urban Revival.
Beautiful.
Thank you so very much for sharing your edits with us. I love them!! It is always so nice to see how others achieve their “perfect” look. Thanks again, Lorie
Beautiful editing! Is there a place on the blog that shows photos and how they’re achieved? I never can remember twice how I edit something! I need to start writing it down as I go…
How fun! I always love seeing before/afters
always love to see work flow!
